An enthusiastic crowd of 75 joined us at The George Post Gallery last night!  And the buzz was “Second Saturday Night Out for ART!”  Everyone was thrilled about the idea, the potential.  All six downtown galleries were open:  The Aloft Art Gallery, Backspace Gallery & Boutique, New Resolutions Photography (future home of The Hillpeople Collective), Studio B, The Ventana Art Gallery and our great bunch at The George Post Gallery.

From classic realism to urban street art, it is all here in downtown Sonora!  We hope all of you will mark your calendars now for Sonora’s Second Saturday Night OUT for ART!  Heck, who knows?  Maybe we’ll even get all of the downtown shops to stay open with us!  I’ll tell you, The Candy Vault was sure hopping last night!

Whether you live near or far, downtown Sonora, California, has an inviting atmosphere. Its historic buildings and Old West charm is accented by the friendly folks, who stroll our streets.  This is a real town with real people from every walk of life. The creative impulse of Tuolumne County just oozes into the streets with live theatre, live music, our art galleries and lots of fun boutiques and shops.
