We have so much potential and so many exciting possibilities for the future in Tuolumne County that just keeping up can be a challenge, and an illustrious past to keep in perspective. I am a business owner, LadybugPress and NewVoices, Inc., and along with my husband own Sonora Press, Inc. I am an author, 7 books, journalist, and artist, a sculptor with public installations, an editor and mentor to new artists. I am an award winning graphic designer; design websites and am also listed on some sources as an "Internet Pioneer" for my work in developing web based audio on the Internet. Read me regularly:
Dianne Shannon, Board Secretary
Dianne Shannon is an artist and business person and is in the third year of her three year term and is the Board Secretary. She can be reached at info@centralsierraarts.org
Dona Williams, Board Treasurer
Dona Williams is a business person in her second term on the Board of Directors and is the Board Treasurer. She can be reached at info@centralsierraarts.org
Lane Willey, Board Member
Lane Willey is at the beginning of her first term on the Board of Directors and can be reached at info@centralsierraarts.org
Lane Willey has been an educator for over forty years, including teacher, administrator and mentor. She currently is Director of Special Education for Gold Rush Charter School in Sonora. Lane is also a published author. Her third book, Whittled by Time, is a historical novel about slavery during the Civil War period. She is currently working on a sequel about slavery in the west. Lane is an active quilter and has designed quilts to go with books for children as well as donating many quilts for community fundraisers. During the summer months her time is spent on an island in Maine where she is active in the local culture and enjoys kayaking the many lakes in the area and eating lobster rolls.
Richard Call, Board Member
Richard Call is at the beginning of his first term on the Board of Directors and can be reached at info@centralsierraarts.org
Richard has over 10 years experience in graphic design, web design, and marketing. He currently works for a local environmental engineering company in the I.T. department. His focus is towards communication and community building. Generally, he's an Ideas Person with a strong motivation towards community outreach and bringing the arts into the public to be experienced by all.
